is a true free site. there is no signing up with a credit card or anything it just asks you a few questions. Now if you have ever had a cell phone or cable bill or layaway things like that and dont pay they will put the nonpayment on your credit report.

There are three reporting agencies (Transunion, Experian, Equifax). You can search for each one on the internet. You can obtain the reports from them. There is a free guide at that explains credit repair and debt management. You should check it out also.

    Good Luck!

Check with your bank to see if they have a credit builder card. That is what I did. The credit limit is kept low for the first year – like $500 or something until you prove that you can handle it. If your bank doesn’t offer this, try going to a department store, like Belks, Sears, or JC Penney and getting one to build your credit.

If you have been denied credit, the company has to tell you which credit reporting agency they used and you can get a free copy from them.

directly from Experian, TransUnion and Equifax, tell
them you have been denied credit and need your
    credit report.
